We now have a website dedicated to our furniture department. While this will not be a shopping site we want our customers to have the opportunity to see what we have to offer before coming into the store. Everything we have can be customized or you can pick what you see on the sales floor. This site has galleries with images of the bedroom, living room, mattresses, and accent furniture. We have a section dedicated to the information and links to some of the brands we offer. We even have an area to meet the team.
We also have a section where some of your questions are answered and be sure to check out the Contact Us page for any questions about product, stains, and fabrics. Each store (Grand Forks and Minot) have specific delivery options, this information is also available through the site.
This site will be updated periodically has we get new collections and new pieces. We will be posting sales and flyers as they become available. For more information or just to browse the galleries visit www.theamishgallery.com. Let us know your thoughts.
We are two months into the New Year and so far things have been great for Home of Economy. We have several great things happening this year. First to mention, our company will be celebrating 75 years in business. We will keep everyone posted on our plans.
This year we will be rolling out an Amish Gallery website so that our customers can see some of the furniture and accent pieces we have to offer. Our Minot and Grand Forks stores are the only ones currently selling the Amish furniture.
We will also participate in the Norsk Hostfest this coming October and plan to launch a website around that same time. This website will be focused around our very popular Bethany lefse grills and accessories. This will be our first adventure into online sales.
We are very excited to announce that we are now a Honda Marine Dealer and will be selling Honda Boat Motors. We are carrying 8 HP to 20 HP motors and they are set up and on display. So make sure you come in and check them out.
Our Jamestown store is thriving, we have already had to expand into other areas of the store and this spring we will be putting in a second entrance to the parking lot. Our team down there is doing a great job and we are looking forward to seeing the store grow to be even better. We will keep everyone updated on the changes.
Out in Williston we are making major progress on the new addition and remodel of the store. This store will have the new circular entry way (similar to that in Minot). It will also have a bigger clothing department with more FR (Fire Resistant) and Carhartt and they will have 10,000 sq. ft. of boots. We are planning the grand opening for later this spring. Williston has seen great growth and we are so happy to be a part of it and providing our customers with nothing but the best.
Minot celebrated their one year anniversary in the new store this past October. They received a 2013 award for Excellence in Concrete from the Ready Mix & Concrete Products Association. Home of Economy worked with Innes Construction, Widseth Smith Nolting, Wells Concrete and Strata Corporation when we were building our new store. Wells Concrete posted about the award on their web site- http://wellsconcrete.com/home-of-economy-minot-nd/ .
