Back in 1886, George B DeArment the founder of Channellock, started his business by hand forging farrier tools in a small factory. He then went town to town selling his products. His business is founded off of good management, people come first, bigger doesn’t always mean progress. Dedication to excellence is the surest way to surmount adversity and to prosper. 1993 was the year of Greatness for the company because they invented the tool called Slip Joint Style Plies. Today, Channellock is run by the 5th generation.
